The Bee Swarm
A bee swarm is effectively a large portion of a bee hive that has left its hive and is on its way to finding a new place to live. When in flight, a bee swarm can sound and look quite scary. However, the bees are not out to attack you, they are simply going about their ways to find a new home. If they have landed near your home, they will start to cluster (gathering together in a ball) . They may do this in a tree, under a verandah, or in a spare tyre. Again, there should be nothing to worry about if you don’t disturb them. It is best to call an experienced beekeeper and have them come to remove the swarm for you.
